Use this letter to invite an employee on Adoption Leave to Keeping In Touch (KIT) Days.
It explains that an employee may attend work for up to 10 KIT days during adoption leave without it affecting adoption leave, adoption pay or their return date.
In addition, that the employee is not obliged to attend any KIT days and may wish to visit for a few hours or for half day, for the purposes of staying in touch and keeping up to date on developments at work.
Examples of KIT days are included, such as to attend a team meeting, retirement lunch, meet new team members, discuss new developments, attend training/meeting/conference/social event dates.
